SAN DIEGO Former Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers will make an appearance against his old team today, after all.

Flowers, who was questionable all week with a groin injury, is listed on the Chargers' active roster on Sunday. The Chargers will be without another top cornerback, however, as Jason Verrett will miss the game with a shoulder injury. He was also listed as questionable on the injury report.

For the Chiefs, there are no surprises on the inactive list. Chiefs coach Andy Reid announced Friday that safety Eric Berry and cornerback Chris Owens would not play, and the other inactives are quarterback Aaron Murray, receiver Donnie Avery, center Eric Kush, guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and defensive end Damion Square.
