Chiefs coach Andy Reid said last Friday that Berry, who has completed his treatments, is still waiting to hear from doctors about the status of his health.
Outside linebacker Tamba Hali and running back Jamaal Charles provided well-wishes for Berry, however.
“I haven’t heard anything, but you saying that, it’s always encouraging to know he’s doing better,” Hali said.

“I hope he’s feeling good,” Charles said. “I’m praying for him and hope he’s in the best shape he’s ever been in. I can’t wait to see him and have him back on the team.”
