Two key members of the Chiefs were back on the field Thursday, as inside linebacker Derrick Johnson (knee inflammation) and receiver Jeremy Maclin (foot inflammation) returned to practice.

Johnson, who missed the previous five practices, and Maclin, who missed practice on Wednesday, appeared to be full participants.

Receiver Albert Wilson, who missed the previous three practices with a hamstring strain, returned to practice as a limited participant.

Offensive guard Laurent-Duvernay Tardif missed practice Thursday with an illness, while outside linebacker Dee Ford was absent due to personal reasons, the team said.

Nose tackle Dontari Poe missed his fifth straight practice with back spasms, but stood on the sidelines observing for the first time since he went down on June 2.
