Once hailed by some as possibly the Chiefs’ quarterback of the future, Aaron Murray never ended up appearing in an NFL game.

Murray, who was the Chiefs’ fifth-round pick in the 2014 draft, was released ahead of the 2016 season, then bounced around to the Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams. He was released by the Rams in May.

But Murray, who was a star at Georgia, has landed a new gig: as an announcer with CBS calling college games. The network announced Tuesday that Murray will work with Rich Waltz and Cassie McKinney during broadcasts.

A few weeks ago, Murray shared a photo on social media of his CBS blazer.
