The Chiefs recently released wide receiver Seantavius Jones from the practice squad and replaced him with center Daniel Munyer.

Last week, Munyer was released from the Chiefs practice squad to make room for Jones. Both players spent the summer and training camp with the club.

▪ The Chiefs brought in former Idaho offensive tackle Jesse Davis for a workout Tuesday.

Davis, 25, is listed at 6 feet 6 and 309 pounds. He was cut by the New York Jets in August and was cut by the Seattle Seahawks in August 2015 after being signed as an undrafted free agent.

Davis was a three-year starter for the Vandals in college.
