The United States women’s national soccer team lost Friday to Sweden in a penalty-kick shootout at the Summer Olympics in Brazil.

The teams were tied 1-1 after 30 minutes of extra time, and Sweden won 4-3 in a penalty kick shootout. After the match, U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo had some harsh words when asked about the game.

There were many people who were not happy with Solo’s comments, both in the United States and abroad.
