It’s expected to be officially announced on Thursday afternoon, but it appears that one of the oldest and best football rivalries is returning.
Michigan-Notre Dame football series is set to resume in 2018, per source. Official announcement expected tomorrow around noon.

Notre Dame ended the series after the 2014 season, but it was just a short hiatus. The Chicago Tribune has more on the rivalry.
Remember the hard feelings when Texas A&M left the Big 12 for the SEC? Texas A&M was particularly displeased with Texas. But those schools apparently have talked about meeting again.

If the icy relations among those schools can thaw a bit, why not Kansas and Missouri? The Border War football series dates to 1891. That’s football played in three different centuries.
