Off the bat of the Cardinals’ Matt Carpenter, the ball looked like it would be at least a double.
But Kendrys Morales, who was playing in right field for Wednesday’s game in St. Louis because there was no designated hitter, ran down the ball. It should be noted that this was the first time Morales was playing in the outfield since 2008.
But Morales made it look easy on the fly ball in the third inning:

Morales also caught a ball off the bat of Jhonny Peralta in the first and third innings, as well as one off the bat of Yadier Molina in the sixth inning.
But it was the catch on Carpenter’s ball that impressed fans.
