It’s official.

Royals outfielder Jarrod Dyson posted to his Instagram account that his hometown of McComb, Miss., is naming one of its streets after him. Warren Street is changing to Dyson Drive.

Here is what Dyson wrote: “Just confirm that Warren St is now being change to Dyson Dr... It’s a blessing from above, I hope this inspire many more young kids to follow there dreams and have faith that dreams do come true!!!!”

In the photo of the newspaper, there is a quote from McComb mayor Whitney Rawlings, who said: “This is the first time anyone graduating from our school system has been recognized in such a manner.”

A Google maps search of the street shows there is a park one one end and a Methodist church.

Dyson was the grand marshal of the city’s Christmas parade last month.
