For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes completed pass to Travis Kelce at Big Slick show

A big star was added at the last minute to the Big Slick festivities.

And by big, I mean famous and large. Jason Kelce, the former Philadelphia Eagles center who is co-host of the wildly popular New Heights podcast, visited Children’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday and later was at T-Mobile Center.

The Big Slick weekend, which is hosted annually by Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, Heidi Gardner, Jason Sudeikis, David Koechner and Rob Riggle, finished with the show at T-Mobile Center.

Jason Kelce was on hand, as was his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. And Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took the stage too.

When Travis Kelce and Mahomes were welcomed out, they brought the house down.

Later, Jason Kelce played center once again ... sort of. It appeared he was going to snap a ball to Mahomes. Instead, Jason Kelce threw a pass to his brother. Unfortunately, it was off the mark.

Mahomes, however, threw a strike to Kelce, and that should come as no surprise given the duo is one of the most prolific in NFL history.

There were plenty of other fun photos and moments at T-Mobile Center as the Big Slick event raised $4.5 million for Children’s Mercy.

Jason Kelce highlights

These highlights are not of the football kind. Jason Kelce, who is now an ESPN analyst, visited Children’s Mercy on Saturday. And the crowd at T-Mobile Center gave him a warm welcome.

The Kelce brothers are going to have plenty to talk about on the next episode of the New Heights podcast.
