If I told you a former Kansas basketball player was talking trash during an NBA game, who would you guess it was?
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is the first name that springs to mind, right?
Embiid loves to chat during games, and he was doing it again Monday night against the Boston Celtics. This time, Embiid's target was another former Jayhawk: Marcus Morris.
Morris wasn't having any of it, and he let his fingers do the talking. That is, Morris reminded Embiid that the Celtics held a 3-0 series lead on the 76ers.
The first instance happened before a timeout in the third quarter (Twitter video from Slam magazine):
After the break, Embiid kept up the talking and Morris was not impressed (this Twitter video is from Def Pen Hoops):
Philadelphia won the game 103-92. Embiid had 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Morris scored 17 points.
