Three weeks after the death of his son, Kansas State associate head coach/special teams coordinator Sean Snyder reached out to fans and others to thank them for their support.
Matthew Snyder, the grandson of K-State football coach Bill Snyder and son of Sean Snyder, committed suicide on Jan. 18 at his home in Manhattan. He was 22.
Sean Snyder on Wednesday tweeted a family photo with this message:
“Wanda and I want to share our deepest thanks for the Love, Thoughts, and Prayers that so many of you have shared with our family. There are no words that comfort or mend the emptiness we have. It has been comforting to hear the stories of Matthew sharing his heart and laughter with so many people. He always had a big heart, a desire to help others, and to have fun. We will forever miss him.
