Kobe Bryant’s Twitter mentions are going to blow up after this.

A student tweeted at Bryant on Thursday saying that his teacher had agreed to forgo a final if the former Lakers legend came through with a retweet. William Pate, who attends Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, was hoping to get out his U.S. government class, according to Fox 59.

Bryant did his part, and wrote: “Hope you have an A in this class.”

That message is important, because no one likes to take a final, unless it’s an opportunity to raise your grade in the class. But if Pate does have an A in the class, skipping the final will be a huge deal for him.

Either way, it was a great move by Bryant.
