We’ve been hearing for days that Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis was dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered during the celebration after the team won the American League Championship Series.
That looks bad, right? Well, Heidi Watney of the MLB Network tweeted photos of Kipnis’ ankle on Tuesday and it is not a pretty sight. You can’t unsee them, so be prepared.
Watney deleted the tweet shortly after it posted, but these things never disappear. Kipnis says he is going to play in the World Series against the Chicago Cubs. Game 1 is Tuesday night, but he won’t be at full strength.
