The United States has won the Ryder Cup and it’s all because of David Johnson of North Dakota.

Actually, the Ryder Cup doesn’t begin until Friday in Chaska, Minn. But Johnson stole the show on Thursday.

While European players Rory McIlroy and Andy Sullivan were having trouble with a putt, Johnson let them know he could do better, according to Ben Everill.

The European players gave Johnson a putter and put a $100 bill down next to the ball. What happened next was pure magic.

Michael Furrh, an Arlington, Texas golf pro, hit a ball 59 yards with a 28-foot club Monday morning at Waterchase Golf Club to set a Guinness world record again.
