KU-Kentucky basketball gets later gametime as SEC/Big 12 Challenge schedule is released

The Kansas-Kentucky matchup on Jan. 28 will be in prime time, tipping off at 5 p.m. on ESPN, the network announced Monday.

The tipoff times for the other nine games in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge were announced as well. Texas A&M at West Virginia will be the first game at 11 a.m., while Kansas State at Tennessee will being at 1 p.m. on ESPN2. All of the contests will be played on Jan. 28.

One of the 10 home sites also will host ESPN’s College GameDay that weekend, though that school has not yet been determined. Last year, KU was the host when it defeated Kentucky 90-84 in overtime at Allen Fieldhouse.
