KU coach Bill Self will be keynote speaker at UMKC’s ’Roos Tip-off Dinner

Bill Self will serve as the keynote speaker at UMKC’s second annual ’Roos Tip-off Dinner on Sept. 30 at the College Basketball Experience. UMKC women’s basketball team tops in GPA

UMKC’s women’s basketball team is ranked first nationally — in team grade-point average. Coach Marsha Frese’s team scored a cumulative 3.68 GPA for the 201314 school year, tops in Division I, according to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Eastern Washington was second at 3.615 and Northern Colorado third at 3.614. “I am extremely excited for our team for achieving this tremendous honor,” Frese said.
