Kansas guard Wayne Selden will not participate in on-court drills at the NBA draft combine after undergoing recent knee surgery, Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania reported.
Selden, who averaged 13.8 points for KU last year, played through the knee injury during the season, according to Charania, who reports that the procedure repaired “a small meniscus tear in his knee.”
KU’s Perry Ellis and Cheick Diallo also received invitations to the NBA draft combine, which runs Wednesday through Sunday in Chicago. Charania said Selden will still participate in interviews and will take part in medical exams at the event.
