The Border War gets renewed Thursday night at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence with the return of the Kansas vs. Missouri Hockey Border Showdown.
Neither the Tigers nor Jayhawks officially sanction an NCAA hockey team, but both schools have club teams that compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
Missouri is 2-13-1 overall and 0-9-1 in the Mid-America Collegiate Hockey Association Gold Division this season, while Kansas is 0-4-1 in Division III.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. and is the first meeting since Missouri claimed a 14-3 win in 2012.
