Kansas senior Frank Duncan scattered seven hits in a complete-game 2-1 victory against Kansas State on Sunday as the Jayhawks won the weekend series.
Duncan, who threw 128 pitches, walked one and struck out three. Kansas, which won Saturday 6-3 after losing 10-0 in Friday’s opener, won a series against the Wildcats for the first time since 2008, according to the KU web site.

Tucker Tharp hit a solo homer in the second inning for the Jayhawks, who added another run in the fifth when Ryan Pidhaichuk’s sacrifice fly scored Justin Protacio. Kansas improved to 21-11 and 5-4 in the Big 12.
Tanner DeVinny had three hits for K-State, 18-13, 2-4.
