Kansas women’s basketball sophomore guard Natalie Knight will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee during KU’s 78-75 victory over Iowa State on Wednesday.
Knight, a former standout at Olathe South, underwent a magnetic resonance imaging test Thursday, confirming the tear. Knight was averaging 8.3 points and finished with a career-best 21 points against Iowa State before going down with the injury. Kansas is 13-6 overall and 4-4 in the Big 12.
