Missouri added its fourth commitment to the Class of 2013 on Sunday, as PowerMizzou.com reported the Tigers have received a verbal from Southwestern Community College (Ill.) centerKeanau Post
in the Belleville News-Democrat noted that Post, a Victoria, British Columbia native who stands 6-feet-11 and weighs 260 pounds, is currently averaging 12 points and ten rebounds a game as a sophomore at Southwestern and was also considering Illinois and Georgetown, among other schools.
Post — whose lead recruiter is assistant
— has not yet been given a star rating by Rivals.com but is listed as a three-star prospect by Scout.com. In committing to Missouri,he joins
two four-star recruits in forwardJonathan Williams III
and guardWes Clark
and a three-star prospect in forwardTorren Jones
in the Class of 2013.
Post will be able to sign with Missouri in April, during the late signing period. He visited Columbia this weekend and was in attendance to see Missouri beat Bucknell 66-64 on Saturday at Mizzou Arena.
Post will likely be one of several big men called on to replace senior startersAlex Oriakhi
