K-State, Mizzou basketball teams to play in CBE semifinals at Sprint Center

Missouri will play Kansas State in the semifinal round of the CBE Classic at the Sprint Center in November.

It will be the first men’s basketball meeting between the former conference rivals since Missouri went to the Southeastern Conference for the 2012-13 season.

The other semifinal pairing matches North Carolina and Northwestern.

The semifinals are Nov. 23 and the third-place and title game are Nov. 24. Times haven’t been determined. Tickets are available at cbehalloffameclassic.com.

The games are part of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony. That will take place on Nov. 20 at Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland, and the class includes former K-State star Rolando Blackman, along with North Carolina’s Charlie Scott, Ohio State’s John Havlicek and Indiana’s Quinn Buckner.
