Kansas State, Kansas announce several football game times, TV channels

Kansas and Kansas State announced several game times and TV channels for football games this fall.

The Wildcats’ season opener Sept. 5 vs. South Dakota will kick off at 6:10 p.m. from Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan. The game will be webcast via K-StateHD.TV.

Three more times were announced. The Sept. 12 game at Texas-San Antonio will kick off at 11 a.m. on Fox Sports 1, followed by a home game vs. Louisiana Tech at 2 p.m. Sept. 19 on Fox Sports Kansas City.

The game time for K-State’s Big 12 game vs. Baylor on Nov. 5 was also announced — 6:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1 — but the remainder of the Wildcats’ kickoff times and TV channels will be announced during the season.

Kansas announced two game times: The Sept. 5 season opener vs. South Dakota State will kick off at 11 a.m. from Memorial Stadium in Lawrence and will air on Fox Sports Kansas City. The Sept. 12 home game vs. Memphis will kick off at 6 p.m. and will air on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and ESPN3 outside of Kansas and the KC metro area.
