Well, this must be shared.
Willie Cauley-Stein, the former Olathe Northwest standout and Kentucky All-American, has legally changed his name — and his new name includes the middle name “Trill.”
Yes, Willie Trill Cauley-Stein.
The name change, according to a report from the Lexington Herald-Leader, was in part to make Cauley-Stein’s hyphenated name official. Cauley-Stein, expected to be a lottery pick in this summer’s NBA Draft, was born Willie Durmond Cauley Jr., and you might remember that being the name he went by when he played basketball and football at Olathe Northwest.

He started going by Willie Cauley-Stein during his senior year of high school — the Stein part reflects his mother’s family — and if you’re going to officially change your name, well, might as well add an awesome middle name*.
*For anyone over 40 years old, Trill is an amalgamation of the words True and Real. There you have it.
