The addition of Jontay Porter, who reclassified into Missouri basketball’s 2017 recruiting class, also led 247Sports to revise the Tigers’ team ranking.

Jerry Meyer wrote Wednesday after Porter’s signing became official, that Mizzou now had the No. 3 class in 247Sports’ Composite Recruiting Rankings.

The site lists Jontay Porter — whose older brother, Michael Porter Jr., is the No. 1 prospect in the 2017 class — as the No. 25 player in the recruiting class.

Presumably, the Tigers remain behind Kentucky and Duke in 247Sports’ rankings, but the official rankings page does not appear to have updated yet.

Rivals and ESPN, which both rank Mizzou seventh, haven’t updated their 2017 team rankings nor has Scout, which ranks the Tigers eighth.
