After nearly sweeping player of the year awards this past season, Kansas guard Frank Mason is getting one more chance to add to his college trophy stash.

Mason was nominated for an ESPY award Thursday, as he is one of five finalists for “Best Male College Athlete.” In addition, ESPN has opened fan voting for that category and others on its website.

Other nominees with Mason include Ian Harkes (soccer), Matt Rambo (lacrosse), Zain Retherford (wrestling) and DeShaun Watson (football).

The 25th ESPYS, which will be hosted by Peyton Manning, will air at 7 p.m. on July 12.

KU senior point man Frank Mason delivers his farewell speech to a packed Allen Fieldhouse after the Jayhawks beat OU 73-63.
