The Chiefs have signed rookie cornerback Deji Olatoye to the practice squad.
Olatoye, 23, is listed at 6 feet 1 and 194 pounds. He was signed by Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in May. He was waived by the Ravens shortly before the regular-season opener.
The move comes after two cornerbacks — Phillip Gaines and Chris Owens — were injured in the Chiefs’ loss to the 49ers on Sunday. Gaines suffered a concussion while Owens had a knee injury.
He joins Gaines, Owens, Marcus Cooper, Sean Smith and Jamell Fleming as the cornerbacks on the roster. Ron Parker, who has started the last four games at safety while Eric Berry has been injured with a high-ankle sprain, also plays cornerback.

Olatoye had 39 tackles, 11 pass deflections and two interceptions as a senior at North Carolina A&T in 2013.
The Chiefs now have one spot available on their practice squad. They waived fullback Jordan Campbell and tight end Justin Jones on Tuesday.
