Qualifying continued in the NHRA Championship Series classes on Saturday at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka.
It was day two of the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals.
Clay Millican made the most of it in Top Fuel. Millican had the top time of 3.739 seconds after four rounds of qualifying. That put him ahead of the son and father pair of Steve (3.747) and Billy Torrence (3.762).
Courtney Force was at the top of the leaderboard in the Funny Car category after four rounds of qualifying. Force had a time of 3.911 seconds in the 1,000 feet stretch. Force was one slot ahead of Jonnie Lindberg (3.962).
And it was tight at the top of the Pro Stock division after four rounds of qualifying. Deric Kramer had the top time at 6.613 seconds and was followed by Erica Enders (6.616) and Greg Anderson (6.626).
Elimination races for the Championship Series divisions are set for Sunday.
