Defending National Women’s Soccer League champion FC Kansas City will open the 2015 season on April 12 at Sporting Park. The Blues will host Sky Blue FC at 3 p.m.

FC Kansas City will play the remainder of its home matches this season at Swope Soccer Village.

“I am extremely excited and happy to have a chance to play at one of the nicest soccer venues in the country,” FC Kansas City coach Vlatko Andonovski said in a statement. “Being able to secure Sporting Park for our home opener and Swope Soccer Village as our new home this season takes our team to a whole different level.”
