FC Kansas City announced on Tuesday that it acquired defender Becca Moros through a trade with Portland Thorns FC. In exchange, the Thorns will receive an additional international roster spots for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Moros appeared in 18 matches and made 13 starts for the Thorns last season. She made her National Women’s Soccer League debut on April 12 and was a part of a backline that held 17 of the next 25 opponents to one goal or fewer.
The Duke graduate spent the previous two years in Japan with INAC Kobe Leonessa winning back-to-back Nadeshiko League championships.
