Royals break open win with switch on hit-and-run play

With one out in the fifth inning of a 1-1 game, Jarrod Dyson reached on an infield hit. As Dyson tried for a stolen base, Seattle second baseman Nick Franklin went to cover the base. The batter Alcides Escobar then punched a ground ball into the vacancy on the right side of the infield and Dyson ran all the way to third.
