On Sunday, The Star named Liberty senior Morgan Fleming its All-Metro girls basketball player of the year.
Five days later, she firmed up her college plans.
Fleming signed with Central Missouri on Friday, where she will continue her basketball career.
Fleming, who also won the DiRenna Award from the Greater Kansas City Basketball Coaches Association, averaged 18.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game for Liberty, which placed third in Missouri Class 5.

She broke the Liberty all-time scoring record during the postseason and finished her four years with the Blue Jays with 1,642 points.
