It’s the second of a three-game road swing for UMKC. The Kangaroos, 11-15 overall and 6-3 in the WAC, hopes to duplicate the success of the opener when it defeated Chicago State. Senior forward Reese Holliday, who played at Sumner, scored a season-best 19 points against the Cougars. The Roos have won six of eight and are tied with Grand Canyon for second place in the WAC. Seattle, 11-13 and 4-6, has lost five of six, a run that started with a loss at UMKC. The Redhawks lead the WAC in field goal percentage defense at 40.9.
