Missouri secured an oral commitment Wednesday night from Franklin (Tenn.) kicker/punter Corey Fatony.
Fatony was an all-state performer as a junior in Tennessee and becomes the Tigers’ ninth commitment for the class of 2015.
According to Rivals.com, Fatony, who is 5 feet 11 and 185 pounds, also was drawing interest from SEC brethren Tennessee and Auburn along with Stanford and UCLA. He attended camps at both Pac-12 schools in recent weeks.
Missouri’s starting punter, Liberty graduate Christian Brinser, will be a senior in the fall. His backup is redshirt freshman Preston Soper.
