Kickoff time announced for Missouri football at Toledo

Kickoff for Missouri’s football game Sept. 6 at Toledo has been set for 11 a.m.

According to Friday’s announcement, the game will air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

It will mark Tigers coach Gary Pinkel’s first game back at Toledo since he left the program to take over at Missouri in 2001.

Pinkel is the Rockets’ all-time leader in coaching victories, going 73-37-3 in 10 seasons from 1991-2000. He was inducted into Toledo’s athletic hall of fame in 2009.

Game times for three other Missouri home games — Aug. 30 vs. South Dakota State (2:30 p.m. on ESPNU), Sept. 13 vs. Central Florida (11 a.m. on SEC Network) and Nov. 28 vs. Arkansas (1:30 p.m. on CBS) — have been set.

The remaining kickoff times will be determined between six and 12 days before each game.
