ABOUT KANSAS STATE (9-1): The Wildcats have won four straight games since suffering their lone loss to Maryland. This will be their fourth neutral-court game of the season, having already played two games at Barclays Center and one at Sprint Center. K-State beat Colorado State 61-56 last season in Wichita.
COLORADO STATE (8-2): The Rams are off to a good start under coach Larry Eustachy. Their victories include a road win against Colorado and a home win against New Mexico State. Their losses came to Wichita State (82-67) and Stanford (56-49). Leading scorer Gian Clavell (15 points per game) recently returned to the team after following a suspension that stemmed from an arrest. He missed last year’s game against K-State with a broken hand.
