The championship banner won’t be the only addition to Kauffman Stadium this season. Here are five new food offerings at The K.
Royals fans have a lot to look forward to as the 2016 season starts: the raising of the World Series banner, the ring ceremony and the first pitch, to name a few. But even those moments can’t be enjoyed on an empty stomach. Thankfully, Aramark has added a number of new items have been added to the menu at Kauffman Stadium, and we’ve got all the details.
From stuffed burgers to a deep-fried hot dog, here are the items we’ve got our eye on this season:

Champions Alley Burger
This burger is not for the faint of heart. The Champions Alley Burger features a tempura-battered and fried beef patty in between a pretzel bread bun. Also sandwiched in between the Farm to Market bun: sweet coleslaw, bacon, cheese, chipotle ketchup and a pickle. Don’t say we didn’t warn you if you need more than a seventh inning stretch. Section 206, $19.
Champions Alley Dog
This foot-long hot dog goes the distance with slices of bacon wrapped underneath a deep-fried tempura batter. Also served on a pretzel bread bun, the Champions Alley Dog is topped with sweet coleslaw and chipotle ketchup. Section 206, $15.
Stack’d and Stuff’d Burger
This burger starts out with more traditional ingredients- a beef patty with pepperjack cheese, applewood smoked bacon and chipotle ketchup on a fresh pretzel roll. But we saved the best topping for last: a fried jalepeno popper. The Stack’d and Stuff’d burger is available at all Rivals grills for $15.
Jamaican Jerk Sausage
Pair this new Craft & Draft menu item with your favorite Boulevard Beer, and you’ll be set for the rest of the ballgame. The sausage is served on a Farm to Market Bread baguette and topped with mango habanero salsa, green apple coleslaw and coconut chutney. $13 at Craft & Draft, at the Left Field Loge Level.
Also new at Craft & Draft: Kale Salad with strawberries, almonds, boursin cheese and a poppy seed vinaigrette for the healthy folks. $10
Save the peanuts and Crackerjacks for another time- this freshly-made pizza from Custom Crust features baby spinach, alfredo, roasted red peppers and Italian sausage. $12 inside Craft & Draft.
