Celebrate National Margarita Day with some of Kansas City’s best options.
It’s National Margarita Day (cheers!), and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a salt-rimmed glass of tequila.

Good luck choosing.
If you prefer to toast with a classic margarita, Ponak’s Mexican Kitchen on Southwest Boulevard is the place for you. The margaritas are served on tap, and if you arrive between 3 and 6 p.m., you’ll receive a happy hour discount on small and large pitchers on the rocks. If you’re really in the mood to celebrate, try the “Liquid Attitude Tradicional,” made with 100% pure Agave Cuervo Tradicional, which Ponak’s says will “knock you flat on your back.”
