Parisi Cafe’s new drink offerings bring a taste of fall to K.C.
Although it may not be cool enough to bust out your sweaters and scarves, the beginning of fall brings every excuse to taste the new season’s flavors. And thanks to Parisi Cafe, you don’t have to wait to get a sip of pumpkin spice.
The Kansas City-based coffee company has introduced a number of new menu items this month, including cannoli, croissants and four flavorful fall drinks. Parisi’s updated beverage options include a pumpkin caramel latte, created with house-made pumpkin caramel syrup from roasted pumpkin puree. The syrup is combined with cream and house-made caramel sauce for a tasty morning or afternoon treat.

If espresso is what you’re after, the cafe’s pumpkin caramel affogato adds vanilla gelato and a shot of espresso to its signature pumpkin syrup for an extra kick.
Another new drink offering is the root beer latte, which uses handcrafted root beer syrup. The root beer affogato combines the same root beer syrup with a shot of espresso for a caffeinated version of the classic root beer float.
Parisi Cafe is located in Park Place in Leawood at 5245 W. 116th Pl., and inside Union Station. The artisan coffee company also serves a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes, from scones and cinnamon rolls to salads and sandwiches. To see Parisi’s full menu, click here.
