It’s almost March, which means it’s time to gear up for Kansas City Fashion Week.
This year’s events kickoff March 16 with a “Bubbly and Bow Ties” cocktail party at the Counterpoint Event Space in the Crossroads.

The party starts at 6 p.m. and includes complimentary champagne, food, a beauty bar by Posh KC Blowdry Bar and designer presentations from Dolyn Bags and Keefe Cravate. Tickets are $26 and can be purchased here.

Runway shows for Kansas City Fashion Week start Thursday, with all proceeds from Thursday’s show going toward Rightfully Sewn.
Doors for Thursday night’s show open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Sprint Festival Plaza at Union Station.
Designers showcasing their Fall/Winter 2016 looks Thursday include Gypsy Blaque, The House of Khai, T. Michelle Designs, The Little Line by Liz, KJ Clothing Design, Ola Style and More Than Just Figleaves.
The doors for Friday’s runway show open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m. at Sprint Festival Plaza. Designers include Lauren Bander, Paulie Gibson, Madison LaRae Durant, Michael Drummond, Kiana Godsey, Present. by, Rachel Anne Gottlieb and My Heirloom Bridal Design.
The final night of Kansas City Fashion Week will feature local designers Architexture, Tomboy Design, Lucia’s Sarto, Erin Paige, christianMICHEAL and Andrea Marie Long Designs.
