Falling for Frances Valentine

Our favorite looks from Frances Valentine’s Pre-Fall 2016 Collection

When K.C. native Kate Valentine, formerly known as Kate Spade, came out with a new collection of women’s accessories this spring, our closets rejoiced. Frances Valentine, which is available to Kansas Citians at Halls on Grand, is quintessential Kate — classic and fun with a hint of the unexpected.

Which is why we instantly fell in love with Frances Valentine’s fall collection. Here are a few of our favorite items:

The chelsea boot gets an updated look with patent leather, a covered heel and elastic sides in the Milly Patent Leather Chelsea Boot. The shoe, which retails for $425, has a 1.25-inch heel and also comes in black. Its classic style and comfortable fit make it perfect for the weekend and work. Available at Halls and

Frances Valentine had us at “rose gold.” These two-toned metallic heels are sophisticated and fun, but also offer comfort with a 3.25-inch block heel. The button detail adds a touch of whimsy and the adjustable strap on the back is ideal for work and play. Available at Nordstrom and

Exclusive to, these Oberon Sunglasses provide plenty of protection with their signature insignia frames reminiscent of 1960s Hollywood. The sunnies come in tortoise and black and retail for $195.

Blue suede shoes, anyone? Perfectly preppy, these navy suede driving moccasins from Frances Valentine are priced at $295 and also come in bright red. Pair them with skinny jeans and a striped button down for a casual look, or dress them up with a flirty skirt and top for a fun night out. Available at Halls and

The Marnie Haircalf Boots are everything we love about fall fashion: They combine texture, pattern, warm tones and Frances Valentine’s signature dome heel for a bootie that can’t be replicated. The boots are priced at $755 and can be found here.
