At the event, the design expert was interviewed by KSHB morning news anchor Lindsay Shively about his Missouri roots, his career in interior design and the runaway success of “Queer Eye.”
The show is currently filming its 3rd season in Kansas City.
“The world is going to see KC like never before,” said Berk, who grew up in Mount Vernon, Mo.
The party also featured lemonade cocktails made with Till American Wheat Vodka, appetizers by Caffeteria, and a DIY project area set up by 3 Square Contracting. Dolce Bakery provided mini spice pumpkin cupcakes.
