Wind down this weekend at the annual Prairie Village Art Show
From live music to local food and collections from hundreds of Kansas City artists, this year’s Prairie Village Art Show promises to provide plenty of weekend entertainment.
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, The Village is hosting its annual Art Show, which features the work of more than 100 artists from across the country.

The show kicks off Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., with live music from Boogie Wonderland. Make it a family night and head to the children’s area near Clock Tower, where kids can get their faces painted or create their own piece of art.
Saturday’s festivities begin with a pancake breakfast by Chris Cakes Inc. from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by Art Show booths until 8 p.m. and live music from The Zeros from 7 to 10 p.m.
Local food vendors for the event include Minsky’s, Tavern in the Village, Blue Moose, Cafe Provence and Chocolate Frog Cafe. Sunday’s Art Show hours run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
