The World Series championship trophy showed up at City Hall on Thursday.
And that meant city workers galore showed up to get their photographs taken with the impressive bling.
That included politicians such as Mayor Sly James as well as some of the workers who swept the streets after the huge World Series parade in honor of the Kansas City Royals.
Here’s how it looked on social media.
The mayor and City Council members took their turn with the trophy.
City Council member Quinton Lucas made an excellent political comment with his tweeted photo regarding the recent outburst of hatred toward Muslims in America.
City employees struck different poses with the trophy.
And other city workers made sure they didn’t miss their chance to enjoy this opportunity.
That was fun.
Now, can we do it again next fall?
