Redemption comes easier when it’s a man in office

Americans don’t care about a person’s sex life, but we still apply different standards to men and women. Particularly when the man is an elected official. The double-standard test is (sort of) playing out in New York City’s comptroller race, where former Gov. Eliot Spitzer is a candidate.
