Any young person’s death is a tragedy. The same is true for Paul Walker, who died Saturday north of Los Angeles in a car crash.
Walker, 40, was the star of the hit movie series “Fast & Furious” with Vin Diesel. They were working on “Fast & Furious 7,” The Associated Press reports.
The films featured cartoon-like car races, chases and crashes in which the stars always walked away with barely a scratch on them.
But that is not how things happen in real life. People who try such stunts often regret it.
Walker died with one other person in the fiery car crash. The red Porsche reportedly hit a light pole and burst into flames.
Excessive speed and drag racing were thought to have been involved in the crash, CNN reports.
