Felipe Paulino gave up four runs in 4 2/3 innings as Class AAA Omaha lost 5-2 at Iowa.
Paulino allowed six hits, three earned runs, walked three and struck out five. He threw 88 pitches, including 50 strikes.
Buddy Baumann gave up one run on four hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Irving Falu and Christian Colon each had two hits and scored a run.

Bubba Starling hit a two-run home run in the top of the first, but it was nearly all downhill from there as the Legends lost 13-4 at Augusta.
Starling, who had two hits and three RBIs, is has a slash line of .342/.412/.592 in August.
Starter Christian Binford allowed seven runs (six earned) on six hits in three innings. He was relieved by Aroni Nina, who gave up six runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings.

Alexis Rivera scored from second after a bunt and an error as the Chukars rallied from five runs down for a 6-5 win against Grand Junction. Beau Maggi walked to open the ninth and Rivera came on as a pinch-runner. RIvera moved to second on a passed ball and Logan Davis bunted and pitcher Carlos Yan threw wildly to first allowing Rivera to score.
The Chukars trailed 5-0 in the sixth, but Carlos Garcia and Michael Antonio hit consecutive RBI doubles to get home two runs and Antonio later scored on a passed ball.
In the seventh inning, Garcia and Antonio again hit consecutive RBI doubles to tie the game 5-5.
Starter Matt Tanuta allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits in four innings.

Center fielder Alfredo Escalera-Maldonado hit a solo homer in the eighth inning, then had a two-run double as part of a three-run ninth as the Royals rallied for a 5-3 win at Johnson City.
Escalera-Maldonado had three hits and the three RBIs, while second baseman Michael Mercurio and shortstop Andrew Ayers each had two hits.
Cruz Guevara, 3-1, pitched four innings of two-hit shutout ball with five strikeouts and one walk. Starter Cesar Ogando allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits in four innings.
