Democrat Paul Davis walks fine line in discussing Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback’s tax cuts

The state representative from Lawrence is unquestionably critical of the income tax cuts the Republican incumbent signed into law in 2012 and 2013, saying they are bleeding the budget. But Davis hasn’t said what he would do about the cuts if he is elected governor. “It looks pretty close to a no-win,” one analyst says. “It’s a huge dilemma.”
