City traffic engineers monitored the location for several days and concluded that the no parking zone on the west side of Woodland should be extended “to achieve more sight distance for eastbound motorists,” said Sean Demory, spokesman for the Kansas City Public Works Department.
The no parking zone now runs for 50 feet north of Admiral, and the department is taking steps to make it 100 feet.
